Delivering high-quality products on time can be a major challenge for manufacturers, suppliers and retailers, especially when considering short product life cycles and the time taken to launch new goods.

If a product is found not to meet the appropriate quality specifications for the marketplace – either late in production or afterwards – the unfortunate results can include loss of product and revenues, delayed shipments, wasted materials and the risk of a product recall.

OUR APPROACH TO QUALITY CONTROL

Factory inspections and audits at various stages of production can help both buyers and manufacturers be sure that quality requirements for products are being met, thus supporting on-time delivery.

Your customised programme of quality product checks may include the following inspection stages:

Raw material incoming

Early in the production process, this inspection can help minimise wasted time, material costs and delayed shipments (if specifications are not being met).

Initial production

Verifying first-run quality requirements can help product consistency and minimise wasted time, scrap product, rework and shipping delays.

During production

This inspection ensures that the initial production process has been maintained and that goods being produced continue to meet quality requirements, especially in the case of new raw materials, new operators, production lines or specification changes.

Final random

Prior to shipment, this inspection assesses whether the final product meets all quality specifications (i.e. colour, workmanship, label, function, fit, packaging of product, etc.). Shipment can then proceed without delay.

Loading / unloading

This inspection provides a witness to verify that only the inspected and approved final product is shipped and received, according to the buyers’ requirements.
