Canada: Quebec Rescinds Stuffed Article Labeling Law

Under Bill 103, Chapter 35, An Act to amend various legislative provisions mainly for the purpose of reducing red tape, the National Assembly of Quebec approved the repeal of the law known as Chapter M-5, ACT RESPECTING STUFFING AND UPHOLSTERED AND STUFFED ARTICLES.
 
Based on the approval to rescind this law on December 9th, Quebec has confirmed that they ceased all mandatory enforcement and registration and labeling for products containing filling materials.  Quebec is expected to deliver more information in upcoming weeks.
